Chorlton Whisky is a small independent English bottler, recognisable by its labels illustrated with medieval-style miniatures. This 18-year-old peated single malt comes from a Highland distillery that remains anonymous and from refill barrel maturation: 267 bottles in all.
Its long years in previously used wood keep the peated character of the spirit to the fore: a mature malt to approach slowly and, if you like, with a few drops of water.
